5'6" nugget, deck is grey tint with a splash of yellow and orange. bottom is a picture of bigfoot trying to hitch a ride home. apparently no surf on the moon...silver moon dust in resin that is hard to see...
Hi, I'm a novice surfer (only been boarding for about a year and a half) and am thinking about buying an epoxy board, but first I was wondering if you could tell me the pros and cons of epoxy boards as oppossed to the traditional resin and fiberglass boards or even the older wooden boards? How long can an epoxy board be expected to hold up to the normal "wear and tear" of surfing if otherwise cared for propoerly? Any other advice for relative beginners like myself? I would like to know as much as possible about the differences between the various kinds of boards before I make my purchase. Here is a good article that goes into a bit of detail about such differences. However, does anyone have any similar guides that are a little more expansive on epoxy boards specifically and how they fare compared to other makes and models? Thanks in advance for any help any of you could provide.
